What You Can Do

- We suggest you start with the homepage where you will learn about the reality concerning money, including see the video and article about it here.
- Then read this page to see that these ideas are not new and that there have been very successful implementations of them in times past. We have just modernized them.
- Then it would be helpful if you were to read this page in its entirety, as it will provide you with the full context on what we are attempting to accomplish, followed by this page specifically geared towards Congress and what we want from them. After that, the below letter will make a lot more sense. Thanks for all you do.
Taking Action
- Get Your Congressional Representative to Support Our Proposed Legislation
- The single most important thing you can do is to get your Congressional Representative to co-sponsor our proposed legislation. To help you in that effort, we have prepared a draft letter from you that you can customize for your Representative. Here is a pdf version of that draft letter and here is a downloadable editable Word version of it in a .zip folder. If you already have a relationship with your Representative, then sending it to the directly would be good. If you don’t already have a relationship, then we recommend contacting that reps staff, in particular who ever advises them on legislative matters. Contact them and send the letter to them to pass on to the representative.
- The next most important thing you can do is to share this website and this page with your network. The more Congressional representatives that we can get on board, the better our chances to get this legislation approved.
- Next, you should consider launching a local/regional complementary currency program of your own. Even without this legislation there is much good that can come from doing so. If we get this rider passed, that will amplify its effectiveness many times. Go to this page to learn about launching a program in your region.
